Our Pharmacy and Boenninghausen LM remedy kit.

There are only two things a practitioner has in his or her favour. The first is the ability to practice homoeopathy in the Hahnemannian manner to elicit prescribing symptoms that are accurate, and the second is a good preparation of the appropriate medicine.

remedyThe I.H.M. is addressing the first issue via its teaching course. The second issue had proved harder to overcome, but long discussions with a dedicated Pharmacist here in Seville Spain, and many hours of working through the making of the remedies according to Hahnemanns protocol, has produced the manufacture of the LM potencies from source to finished product in the correct way.

What we cannot prepare ourselves, has been made by 2 other laboratories, of which Gary Weaver has personally visited and examined the manufacturing process of each remedy.

p1060360Each country has its own Pharmacopeia for which the pharmacies adhere to in manufacture of the remedies. Where it conflicts or deviates from the instructions in the Organon has proved to be an issue for the IHM. We have striven to overcome these obstacles by making the source tincture as best we can in the original manner. The preparations are made in a strictly controlled environment of a one way air flow, sealed chambers, extraction units, and everything is done by hand. Each part of the manufacture process is exactly as Hahnemann instructed.

p1060363In our Seville Pharmacy, The final medicating of the granules is done in sealed laboratory conditions.

We are pleased to offer a Boenninghausen Remedy kit of the following medicines in the LM 0/1 potency for use with the P&W Therapeutic Pocket Book. We made the decision to supply the kit in a delivery container rather than a lovely box or remedy case, to keep the costs down. These can be bought through companies on the internet for various prices.

For students of the IHM courses, we offer the following remedies for €280 plus postage if required. (€2.24 a medicine. £1.99 each!)

For non students, we offer the kit for €380 plus postage.

We know the hours that have gone into preparing these medicines. For this quality of hand preparation, the remedies individually sell for €10 a vial.

Recently, I cracked a rib and had complications arising from the situation. I was using a medicine prepared by another pharmacy, and while it helped, it was not moving along as expected. As soon as the same remedy was prepared in our pharmacy, I used it. Within 2 days a marked improvement set in and the complications disappeared. The rib was pain free within 5 days. Also, for a patient with joint pains, the remedy worked IMMEDIATELY and a reduction of 80% of the pain was felt within one day.

Contact the IHM regarding purchase of the kits by filling in this form here.

Two things. One in particular.

A successful homoeopath relies on two things that enables him or her to be a good physician.

The first is knowledge of the principles and practice of Homoeopathy.

This implies the following:

  • A comprehensive study of the writings of Hahnemann.
  • Understanding of how the law of similar works.
  • Understanding what a proving is and how to elicit essential symptoms for prescribing from them.
  • How to take a case.
  • How to manage a case.

The second thing required to be a successful homoeopath is using good medicines.

This is the issue that is being addressed here in detail

The IHM uses and recommends LM or Q potencies in practice. Individually we have our own medicines for use.

A few months ago I requested a medicine to be made from a local pharmacy in the LM potency, and was shocked to receive the medicine in large globules. I asked if there had been a mistake. ‘No mistake’ I was told, this is how we prepare medicines for the patients in Spain. Needless to say, I requested a change to the poppy seed granules.

Further investigation uncovered other remedy manufacturing issues. For example, Hahnemann in aph 270 (Organon of the Chronic Diseases 6th edition) indicated:

But if only one such globule be taken, of which 100 weigh one grain, and dynamize it with 100 drops of alcohol, the proportion of 1 to 50,000 and even greater will be had, for 500 such globules can hardly absorb one drop, for their saturation.

remedy-bottleThe medical container that the remedies are dispensed to the practitioner in Spain are usually of this size and contain about 200-270 poppy size globules. My experience with pharmacies all over world, is that in the main, they medicate the one bottle at a time with a drop. Too much!

It concerns me that this is happening. Our reliance on the medicines is all encompassing. We need to be sure that the medicines are made properly.

In discussions with the IHM colleagues, we set out to find a pharmacy that complied with the Hahnemannian directions. Eventually, a small but well equipped local facility was found and we went and had a discussion with the pharmacist. We discussed the preparation concerns, and he was extremely amenable to changing his methods after being shown from the Organon. Pharmacists usually religiously adhere to the pharmacopeia instructions plus local methods and do not have much knowledge of the Organon. We were shown his well equipped hermetically sealed prep room and I proceeded to show him the difference in medicating 500 poppy seeds as opposed to 200. He acknowledged that it took up to one hour to let the alcohol dry from a 200 seed infusion of one drop, and was surprised to see a 5 minute evaporation and dry time from the 500 hundred plus one drop infusion. One test I used to do to check if all the grains had been coated was to use a simple alcohol meter and see it register on one poppy seed.

We discussed where he purchased the medicating potencies from for starting the LM scale. Having been to both pharmacies and seeing the preparation work there, I was more than happy with the sources. Where a medicating liquid cannot be sourced, we will make our own.

The IHM and the pharmacy are working together to produce a “Boenninghausen” LM remedy kit of the remedies in the Therapeutic Pocket Book.  This will be available once we have satisfied ourselves with the manufacture (hand made) and the price. I have had opportunity to test one of the medicines (Arnica) due to a cracked rib and can attest to the efficacy of that medicine.

There is no point in making a good prescription for a medicine if the medicine is not prepared properly.

CHARLESTON SHOOTER WAS ON DRUG LINKED TO VIOLENT OUTBURST

CHARLESTON SHOOTER WAS ON DRUG LINKED TO VIOLENT OUTBURSTS Dylann Storm Roof was taking habit-forming drug suboxone   Charleston Shooter Was on Drug Linked to Violent Outbursts by PAUL JOSEPH WATSON | JUNE 18, 2015

Charleston shooter Dylann Storm Roof was reportedly taking a drug that has been linked with sudden outbursts of violence, fitting the pattern of innumerable other mass shooters who were on or had recently come off pharmaceutical drugs linked to aggression. According to a CBS News report, earlier this year when cops searched Roof after he was acting suspiciously inside a Bath and Body Works store, they found “orange strips” that Roof told officers was suboxone, a narcotic that is used to treat opiate addiction. Suboxone is a habit-forming drug that has been connected with sudden outbursts of aggression. A user on the MD Junction website relates how her husband “became violent, smashing things and threatening me,” after just a few days of coming off suboxone. Another poster on the Drugs.com website tells the story of how his personality completely changed as a result of taking suboxone. The individual relates how he became “nasty” and “violent” just weeks into taking the drug, adding that he would “snap” and be mean to people for no reason. Another poster reveals how his son-in-law “completely changed on suboxone,” and that the drug sent him into “self-destruct mode.” A user named ‘Jhalloway’ also tells the story of how her husband’s addiction to suboxone was “ruining our life.” A poster on a separate forum writes about how he became “horribly aggressive” towards his partner after taking 8mg of suboxone. A website devoted to horror stories about the drug called SubSux.com also features a post by a woman whose husband obtained a gun and began violently beating his 15-year-old son after taking suboxone. According to a Courier-Journal report, suboxone “is increasingly being abused, sold on the streets and inappropriately prescribed” by doctors. For some users, it is even more addictive than the drugs it’s supposed to help them quit. As we previously highlighted, virtually every major mass shooter was taking some form of SSRI or other pharmaceutical drug at the time of their attack, including Columbine killer Eric Harris, ‘Batman’ shooter James Holmes and Sandy Hook gunman Adam Lanza. As the website SSRI Stories profusely documents, there are literally hundreds of examples of mass shootings, murders and other violent episodes that have been committed by individuals on psychiatric drugs over the past three decades. Pharmaceutical giants who produce drugs like Zoloft, Prozac and Paxil spend around $2.4 billion dollars a year on direct-to-consumer television advertising every year. By running negative stories about prescription drugs, networks risk losing tens of millions of dollars in ad revenue, which is undoubtedly one of the primary reasons why the connection is habitually downplayed or ignored entirely.

1,000-Year-Old Onion and Garlic Eye Remedy Kills MRSA

March 31st, 2015

Via: BBC:

A 1,000-year-old treatment for eye infections could hold the key to killing antibiotic-resistant superbugs, experts have said.

Scientists recreated a 9th Century Anglo-Saxon remedy using onion, garlic and part of a cow’s stomach.

They were “astonished” to find it almost completely wiped out methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus, otherwise known as MRSA.

Their findings will be presented at a national microbiology conference.

The remedy was found in Bald’s Leechbook – an old English manuscript containing instructions on various treatments held in the British Library.

Anglo-Saxon expert Dr Christina Lee, from the University of Nottingham, translated the recipe for an “eye salve”, which includes garlic, onion or leeks, wine and cow bile.

Experts from the university’s microbiology team recreated the remedy and then tested it on large cultures of MRSA.

Hahnemann nails the argument…

By Vera Resnick

Thinking-Man-RodinIn his preface to the proving of Arsenicum Album in Chronic Diseases, Hahnemann really nails many of the arguments we face in our own, modern allopathically brainwashed societies today. Rather than comment, here is Hahnemann in his own pithy, erudite, and very sharp words. I’ve highlighted some words in bold. This is only an excerpt. There’s more. Go read.

“ARSENICUM ALBUM.

“As I write down the word Arsenic, momentous memories seize upon my soul.

“When the All-merciful One created iron, He granted to mankind, indeed, to fashion from it either the murderous dagger or the mild ploughshare, and either to kill or to nourish their brethren therewith. How much happier, however, would they be, did they employ His gifts only to benefit one another! This should be the aim of their life; this was His will.

“So also it is not to Him, the All-loving One, we must impute the wickedness practiced by men, who have dared to misemploy the wonderfully powerful medicinal substances in diseases for which they were not suitable, and besides this in doses so enormous, guided only by frivolous ideas or some paltry authorities, without having subjected them to any careful trial, and without a well-grounded selection.

“If now a careful prover of the effects of medicines arise, they inveigh against him as an enemy to their comfort, and do not refrain from the most dishonest calumnies.

“The ordinary medical art has hitherto employed in large and frequently repeated doses the most powerful medicines, such as arsenic, nitrate of silver, corrosive sublimate, aconitum napellus, belladonna, iodine, digitalis, opium, hyoscyamus, etc. Homoeopathy cannot employ stronger substances, for there are none stronger. Now, when ordinary physicians employ them, they evidently vie with one another who shall prescribe the largest possible doses of these drugs, and even make a great boast of their mounting to such enormous doses. This practice they laud and approve in their fellow practitioners. But if the Homoeopathic medical art employ the same drugs, not at random, like the ordinary method, but after careful investigation, only in suitable cases and in the smallest possible doses, it is denounced as a practice of poisoning. How partisan, how unjust, how calumnious is such a charge made by men who make pretensions to honesty and uprightness!

“If Homoeopathy now make a fuller explanation, if she condemn (as from conviction she must) the enormous doses of these drugs given in ordinary practice, and if she, relying on careful trials, insists that very much less of them should be given for a dose, that where ordinary physicians give a tenth, a half, a whole grain, and even several grains, often only a quadrillionth, a sextillionth, a decillionth of a grain is required and sufficient, then the adherents of the ordinary school, who denounce the Homoeopathic healing art as a system of poisoning, laugh aloud, abuse it as childishness, and declare themselves convinced (convinced without trial ?) that such a small quantity can do nothing at all, and can have no effect whatever, is, indeed, just the same as nothing. They are not ashamed thus to blow hot and cold from the same mouth, and to pronounce the very same thing to be inert and ludicrously small, which they had just accused of being a system of poisoning, whilst they justify and praise their own enormous and murderous doses of the same remedies. Is not this the grossest and most wretched inconsistency that can be imagined, invented for the very purpose of being shamelessly unjust toward a doctrine which, they cannot deny, possesses truth, consistence and agreement with experience, and which practices the most delicate cautiousness and the most unwearied circumspection in the selection and administration of its remedies?

Not very long ago a highly celebrated physician [Marcus of Bamberg] spoke of pounds of opium being eaten every month in his hospital, where even the nurses were allowed to give it to the patients according to their fancy. Opium, mind! a drug that has sent several thousands of men to their graves in ordinary practice! Yet this man continued to be held in honor, for he belonged to the dominant clique to which everything is lawful even if it be of the most destructive and absurd character.

And when, a few years since, in one of the most enlightened cities of Europe almost every practitioner, from the physician of lofty title down to the barber’s apprentice, prescribed arsenic as a fashionable remedy in almost every disease, and that in such frequent and large doses in close succession, that the detriment to the health of the people must have been quite palpable, yet this was held to be an honorable practice, though not one of them was acquainted with the peculiar effects of the semi-oxide of this metal (and consequently knew not what cases of disease it was suited for). And yet all prescribed it in repeated doses, a single one of which, sufficiently attenuated and potentized, would have sufficed to cure all the diseases in the whole habitable world for which this drug is the suitable remedy.

Which of these two opposite modes of employing medicines best deserves the flattering appellation of a “system of poisoning” -the ordinary method just alluded to, which attacks with tenths of grains the poor patients (who often require some quite different remedy), or Homoeopathy, which does not even give a little drop of tincture or rhubarb without having first ascertained whether rhubarb is the most suitable, the only appropriate remedy for the case? Homoeopathy which, by unwearied, multiplied experiments, discovered that it is only in rare cases that more than a decillionth of a grain of arsenic should be given, and that only in cases where careful proving shows this medicine to be the only one perfectly suitable ? To which of these two modes of practice does then the honorary title of “thoughtless, rash system of poisoning” properly apply ?

There is yet another sect of practitioners who may be called hypocritical purists. If they are practical physicians, they, indeed, prescribe all sorts of substances that are injurious when misused, but before the world they wish to pose as patterns of innocence and caution. From their professional chairs and in their writings they give us the most alarming definition of poison; to listen to their declarations it would appear unadvisable to treat any imaginable disease with anything stronger than quick-grass, dandelion, oxymel and raspberry juice.

According to their definition, poisons are absolutely (i. e., under all circumstances, in all doses, in all cases) prejudicial to human life, and in this category they include (in order to prejudice against Homoeopathy), as suits their humor, a lot of substances which in all ages have been extensively employed by physicians for the cure of diseases. (sounds familiar? vr)But the employment of these substances would be a criminal offence had not every one of them occasionally proved of use. If, however, each of them had only proved itself curative on only one occasion -and it cannot be denied that this sometimes happened- then this blasphemous definition is at the same time a palpable absurdity. Absolutely and under all circumstances injurious and destructive, and yet at the same time salutary, is a contradiction in itself, is utter nonsense. If they would wriggle out of this contradiction, they allege, as a subterfuge, that these substances have more frequently proved injurious than useful.

“But did the more frequent injury caused by these substances come from these substances themselves, or from their improper employment, i. e., from those who made an unskillful use of them in diseases for which they were not suitable ? These medicines do not administer themselves in diseases, they must be administered by men ; and if they were beneficial at any time, it was because they were at one time appropriately administered by somebody ; it was because they might always be beneficial, if men never made any other than a suitable use of them. Hence it follows that whenever these substances were hurtful and destructive they were so merely on account of having been inappropriately employed. Therefore all the injury is attributable to the unskillfulness of their employers…”.

Anapol Schwartz Vaccine Lawyers Settle Multimillion Dollar Flu Vaccine Case involving Guillain-Barre Syndrome

Posted by JackieFedeli

Sarah Behie’s reaction to the flu vaccine began within a week when she started experiencing flu-like symptoms including fever, muscle aches, and weakness. She went to the emergency room but was sent home. A few weeks later, she was admitted to the hospital, unable to walk.

Behie was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome, a rare but paralyzing disorder that attacks the nerves and the immune system. There is no cure for GBS, but physical therapy can lessen the severity of GBS.

Four years later, she has still not fully recovered. She is bed and wheelchair bound in a nursing facility. Sarah’s vaccine injury lawyers filed her vaccine injury claim with the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program in Washington, D.C. The settlement will cover not only her medical expenses and life care expenses, but it will also reimburse her for pain and suffering, and lost earnings resulting from her adverse reaction to the flu vaccine. The expected lifetime payout of Sarah’s settlement is $11.6 million.

“While there is no sum of money that can bring Sarah back to her healthy condition before receiving the flu vaccine, we are thrilled that Sarah will now that the beans to obtain the appropriate and necessary medical treatment to deal with this tragic disease,” vaccine lawyer Lawrence Cohan said.

Lawrence Cohan is a partner at Anapol Schwartz. He is nationally recognized for his success in litigating vaccine lawsuits as well as other personal injury matters. He was named a Top 100 Lawyer in Pennsylvania by Super Lawyers, and he was voted 2013 Lawyer of the Year in Mass Tort and Class Actions by Best Lawyers.

David Carney is an associate at Anapol Schwartz who concentrates his practice in vaccine lawsuits and medical malpractice lawsuits. Carney is a member of the Vaccine Injury Petitioner’s Bar Association. In 2013, he assisted Cohan with a $9 million settlement with a lifetime payout of $40 million on behalf of a boy diagnosed with encephalitis caused by a chicken pox vaccine.

MERCURIUS Solubilis

The appearance of a typical Mercurius flu is very similar to that of Pyrogenium, although the patient appears somewhat bloated. It may be that one finds a localized, hectic flush, but a generalized redness is typical for Mercurius. Often the face is bright red. The wet welding seems strange oily, so that the patient’s skin looks greasy.

In contrast to the volubility at Pyrogenium Mercurius patients appear driven. Their language is hasty, and they almost stumble over their words. They are much more anxious and restless.

Although Pyrogenium patients are very ill, so they are quite unconcerned about their condition. Mercurius patients, however, are extremely depressed, restless and anxious. Very often they are dejected as Pulsatilla and cry when they courtesies brought. Linked with their haste is a tendency to impatience and irritability.

Their general perception of temperature is another distinguishing feature. Mercurius patients feel as hot as Pyrogenium cases. They have the same hot sweat and feel uncomfortable when too warm, and frosty, if they are covered up too easily. But they never have the same intense sensitivity to cold as Pyrogenium where the state is constantly changing between too hot and too cold. When Mercurius patients are in a quiet atmosphere at moderate temperatures, they feel quite well.

Unlike Pyrogenium Mercurius patients have a clear night aggravation. You feel uncomfortable all night, have a significant temperature increase and tend to sweat more, which makes them feel even more uncomfortable.

It is difficult to distinguish between the headache of Pyrogenium and Mercurius patients. Both suffer from the same oppressive headache in exactly the same situations. Both have the same heat sensation in the head, and in both the sinuses, the antrum and the ear are affected; the symptoms are very similar.

Maybe Mercurius patients are a little more sensitive to drafts over the painful areas. More helpful is that they have more relief from pressure on painful areas perceive as Pyrogenium cases.

As far as it comes to thirst, there is little difference between the two means. Both are thirsty and demand for cold drinks. But the mouth provides clear indications. In the mouth of Mercury there is always a feeble, swollen, pale and coated tongue, with a disgusting, greasy taste and agonizing sticky, fairly profuse salivation in contrast to the dry, brown coated tongue of Pyrogenium.

The Mercurius tongue trembles. She trembles clearly when it is stretched out. The excessive salivation makes the tongue sticky, and the patient finds it difficult to speak and express themselves.

The Mercurius-neck is acutely inflamed, and the submaxillary glands are enlarged early striking. The neck itself is very swollen, dark, dark red, very sensitive, it feels hot and burning. The whole tissue of the posterior pharyngeal wall appears inflamed and every movement hurts; Swallowing is very difficult and can stabbing pains that extend to the ears cause.

The sensation of burning and soreness extending down the throat and involved larynx, trachea and bronchi. The cough is extremely painful, the inside of the chest feels so rough on as if the mucous membranes replaced. The intense inflammation causes hoarseness, and very often a complete loss of voice.

Mercurius flu patients always have an intense conjunctivitis with profuse lacrimation. There are hot, burning tears that excoriieren the skin of the cheeks. They are very sensitive to light and especially sensitive to radiant heat. Furnace heat leads to sore, burning eyes.

These patients have profuse, watery, excoriating nasal discharge, which tends to excoriieren the upper lip. This is accompanied by intense burning pain in the nose and violent Nießattacken. These attacks are provoked either by walking out into fresh air, or by entry into a warm room. They are caused either by heat or cold or drafts.

The aqueous secretions tend to be thicker, to turn green. When this happens, patients receive intensive, the antrum under the eyes or up into the sinuses radiating pain.

In the context of the intense throat infection there is usually acute involvement of the middle ear. Usually this starts with the feeling that clog the ears, and this may roaring ear noises. It set up very quickly earache one, a sense of heightened tension and throbbing pain.

The pain tend to extend to the side of the head, and often involve the entire side of the head. There will be more pronounced sensitivity of the mastoid, often swelling of the retro-auricular glands, the neck down extend, and extremely injected eardrums with early rupture.

Mercurius patients suffer complete loss of appetite during flu. Due to the high acute strep throat she can barely swallow. Moreover, continuous forms unpleasant saliva, which can be swallowed without pain and causes a feeling of intense nausea.

These patients have generalized pain of the muscles. You have stiffness perception of the neck, back, arms and legs and movements are painful.

And not only the tongue but the entire patient is shaky. The hands are insecure and all fine movements shaky.

What is wrong with them?

Case after case of vaccinated persons getting the disease they have been ‘protected’ against…. and yet they STILL tell people to get vaccinated.

NEW JERSEY (MYFOXNY.COM) –

The New Jersey Department of Health is investigating eight confirmed cases of mumps found in students at Stevens Institute of Technology.

The college in Hoboken says the students range in age from 18 to 21. All were fully vaccinated with two documented doses of mumps-containing vaccine.

The school says it has told faculty and staff members who are unsure of their immunization status to check with their health providers.

“At Stevens our top priority is the health and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff. Consistent with the procedures outlined by the NJDOH, all students with suspected mumps infection were isolated from others during the infectious phase of the illness and returned to their homes off campus,” said Maggie Cunning, Director of the Student Health Services. “There have been no reports of newly symptomatic cases since the initial cases last week.”

Stevens is encouraging anyone who may have recently visited the campus or had close contact with a student or staff member to contact their doctor if they are exhibiting mumps symptoms. These include swollen salivary glands, fever, headache, tiredness and loss of appetite.
